Jumping rope, many smiles, dirty dancing, talks about peace and radicalisation and a whole lot of Crocs – that pretty much sums up my day photographing in Kibera, the ‘largest urban slum in Africa’. While on assignment for ISA Youth, I visited their partner organisation @amanikibera, which is “youth-led, community-based organisation which focuses on helping young people participate in peacebuidling, conflict management, and health awareness through sport, cultural and educational projects”
